A: Hello! My son has eczema bad and this is why I developed these Dryer Balls. I can not use any softeners on his clothing and can only use Charlie’s soap (Love it!) and these Wool Dryer Balls in the dryer.
Q: I’ve been looking at the rubber dryer balls and came across yours. I like the idea of reduced static and wear and tear on your clothes. How long do they last? Thanks, Deb
A: Hello Deb, Thank you for your kind words! Over time your Wool Dryer Balls will develope pills on them (If they bother you- just run a sweater depiller or light razor over them to remove pills). These balls last for years and the more pilling the better. Pills = softer clothing because there is more surface friction. They get better with age, kind of like wine.

LOVE the dryer balls! My flannel sheets got dry in one cycle, rather than the 1.3 cycles it took with the plastic balls. Thank you! FYI, I am only using 4 of the 6 for dryer balls. I pulled the other two aside for indoor baby play. They are like the old fashioned soft soft nerf balls that don’t exist anymore. I think they will be the safest indoor balls out there. YAY
